Mapping a network drive on a PC

Step 1: Click on the Start button

  

Step 2:  From the menu select Computer

Step 3:  Choose Map network Drive

 

Step 4 Choose your Drive letter:

Click on the drop down arrow, and if available please select the letter S:  If this is not available. please select the closest available letter.

Step 5: Enter your drive details:  \\uni\data\share_xxxxxxxxx (replace xxxxxxx with the name of your departmental share drive) ensure there is a tick next to Reconnect at logon and click Finish
