Accessing my Timetable, Evision and Canvas

Timetable

Students can access a copy of their personalised teaching timetable online or via the University of Sunderland Mobile App.

To access your timetable online use the relevant link below:

Sunderland Campus Students

London Campus Students

You will be presented with a CMIS ePortal Login page, in the Username box enter your 'student number' (your student number is also your UCAS number), in the Password box enter timetable. Once logged in you will see your timetable for the whole year.  You can use the scroll bar next to your timetable to view classes on a week by week basis.

Any problems accessing or understanding your timetable please send an email , providing your full name and student number, to the relevant email account below:

Important Note: You should check your timetable on a regular basis for any possible changes.   Online timetables will be updated twice daily to ensure personalised timetables are as accurate as possible.  Updates will happen at midday (12 noon) and again overnight.  During the midday (12 noon) update ePortal will be unavailable for 15 minutes and therefore you will be unable to access your timetable during this short period of time.  We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause

Evision

e:Vision is your online portal for:

  • Enrolment
  • Payment of tuition fees
  • Access to your Transcript of results
  • Access to the University’s Module catalogue
  • Updating bank details we may need to make relevant bursary payments to you
  • Updating other details relevant to your studies at the University

Canvas

Canvas is the University's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), a secure and authoritative repository for all of students' learning materials with easy access to supporting resources such as reading lists (My Module Resources) and Study Skills. Canvas also provides a wide variety of tools and services to support learning, particularly blended and distance learning, with both synchronous and asynchronous discussion tools available including discussion boards, a chat tool, and web conferencing. Electronic assessment is available through Canvas in the form of a quiz tool, online assignment submission, marking and feedback, and integration with Turnitin.
