Agent Hub

Technical Services / News / General Updates / Agent Hub

Agent Hub is an online gateway that will be improving the way agents submit applications.

Agents are people who support applicants all the way through applying to university, and even does the process for them, almost like a recruitment agent. Previously the process they used relied heavily on emails, and going through other people. From 15 May a new digital process has become available, but not everyone has access to it yet.

Agent Hub is available on e-Vision, and is another one of Technical Services’ SITS developments. It is an online gateway that allows agents to make changes to applications themselves throughout the entire process. It gives them oversight over all the applications they submit, enabling them to edit, and add other necessary information at any point.

Before this update, the agents were unable to view the entire process, and if any changes needed to be made they would have to email the University to get someone else to do it.  Agent Hub will be rolled out to agents in the future, and benefits the Applicant Portal, and London, International and UKVI.

There will be less people involved in the application. It will be quicker, with less emails being sent back and forth, and the agent will not have to rely on anyone else to edit the applications form on their behalf. Allowing for quicker processing of applications submitted by agents. The Agent Hub was created at the request of Pro Vice – Chancellor John Macintyre.
