The Graduations have never looked better.
This year’s Winter Graduation gave us the opportunity to try out our new streaming equipment. We made sure that any friends and family who couldn’t make it to the ceremony could watch it from the comfort of their own home, or anywhere in the world, in the best quality.
The ceremonies took place between 28-30 November and we were able to capture this in full High Definition, and stream it on YouTube. This is instead of Standard Definition which we have used since 2015, when the Web Team and CELT started streaming the graduations. As well as a better quality image, the audio has also improved, and is now uninterrupted.
It’s not just friends and family of the graduates who were able to watch the ceremony, it was also streamed on the TVs across the University. Showing our current students what they will be able to achieve with us.
Graduation Streaming was a success, capturing over 2000 graduates' special day, and being viewed in over 50 countries including Germany, Jordan and Iraq. It will be used to capture and share the Summer Graduations. Making sure all of their loved ones are immersed in this special day.
