Some users may be seeing messages on their computer stating that “Your Windows license will expire soon” (image 1) or “Activate Windows” (image 2). This issue is easily resolved and is due to your computer not checking in the licencing service whilst off campus.

There is no need to worry, as your device will still function to allow you to work. If you would like to have the message removed please log a call on our IT portal (https://itportal.sunderland.ac.uk) and member of the team will contact you. Please remember to leave a contact telephone number.
