University IT
University IT comprises several diverse teams, all of which are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the University’s IT provision runs smoothly:
- Cyber Security
- Enterprise Applications
- IT Operations
- Service Delivery
Teams Overview
The Enterprise Applications Team focus on the design, development, maintenance and innovation of systems and services which are used by staff and students on a daily basis – e.g. Canvas, the University website, My Sunderland, SITS, e:Vision, Skype for Business and Student/Staff Desktop Services.
The IT Operations Team is responsible for a wide-range of core IT-related activities including service delivery, end user support and training, IT infrastructure, IT estate management, IT continuity, cyber security management, cyber education and awareness, information governance, data protection and records management.
